One of SME4SMARTICITES´ solution has been selected among the top 100 ecological solutions

The Arch is a new initiative born from the commitment of a group of entrepreneurs, citizens, seafarers and event organizers, all mobilized to serve one ambition: to help accelerate the ecological transition. 100 innovative and concrete solutions from 18 countries were selected following a European call for projects implemented by Atlanpole Nantes and the two networks European Business and innovation center Network (EBN) and International Association of Science Parks and areas of innovation (IASP), concerning 5 different sectors: city-housing, food-health, energy, industry-digital, and mobility.

Among these 100 selected innovative projects we can find also BEAIR the smart ecosystem co-designed in the framework of the SME4SMARTCITIES project call for solutions for the Genoa Challenge managed by Italian partner FILSE in collaboration with Genoa Municipality.  The smart city solution merges the transnational skills of three SMEs: the Italian company California Innovation GroupActisa from Spain and Magna from Israel. BEAIR proposes to improve air quality and behavior in urban areas: an intelligent pedestrian crossing, air quality sensors, smart cameras, and artificial intelligence.

The Arch has been promoting the 100 ideas with a Tour of Europe under sail, embarking and symbolically presenting these innovations during 10 stopovers. In total, this long-distance event will bring together nearly 3,000 leaders, experts, solution providers, citizens, associations, etc. From June 2 to 3, 2023, the 100 solutions will be presented to the general public in Saint-Nazaire, in front of the first modern sailing cargo ship Canopée, the flagship of ecological maritime innovation.
